A neighbouring farmer recently told me about another farmer who told one of his workers to clean the polytunnels.<br/><br/>Being your typical farm labourer, he simply wheeled out the petrol-engined monster pressure wash with lance, connected the water pipe, started the engine and blithely directed the lance along one side of the first poly tunnel.<br/><br/>With a bit of wind blowing, what started as a long slice along the cover quickly turned into total covering removal.<br/><br/>It's one way of letting more light in...
